Description (Service)

Match eligible clients with individuals or businesses that provide homemaking or short-term relief for caregivers.

Services may include:

non-health personal assist with routine household duties such as light housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation and laundry
security and companionship to someone who is ill, frail or living alone
respite is available overnight and throughout the day

Service Details

Hours	Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served	Dufferin County
Eligibility	Seniors or adults with disabilities Ages: 18 years and up
Application	Initial assessment done in client's home, call to arrange
Languages	English
Fees	Service - Contact for fee details; minimum 2 hours per visit, but no minimum to how often visit is requested (can be a one-time visit, daily, once a week or month)
